Stephen F. Gordon (1940-2023)

Stephen F. Gordon began practicing labor law in the early 1960's, representing public employee unions from the era of The Condon-Wadlin Act to the present. In 1972, he started a law firm dedicated to organized labor and committed to helping union leaders carry out their mission to improve the lives of workers. The practice grew over the years to represent more than fifty public employee unions and their benefit funds. Steve was a pioneer in the negotiation and creation of prepaid legal programs, using collectively bargained employer contributions to ensure that unionized workers could realize the Sixth Amendment's constitutional promise that everyone has the right to counsel. Today, the firm and its staff are proud to continue Steve's mission and vision through zealous representation of organized labor and its hard-working members.
